Experience daily Thai, Cranial Sacral, and Lymphatic massages by certified technicians, along with twice-daily yoga sessions. Our retreat offers authenticity, intimacy, and affordability, catering to both beginners and intermediate yogis. Over this two-day immersive experience, prepare to release the old and embrace new growth through a fireside ritual symbolizing renewal.     Immerse yourself in the transformative journey of yoga and wellness with Katie, a 200hr trained yogi with the renowned Mocean yoga. As the founder and creator of The River House wellness retreat estate, Katie embodies a passion for movement, adventure, and the profound realms of healing and spirituality.

    Balancing her dynamic life as a full-time realtor in Vancouver and the Gulf Islands, Katie's approach to yoga reflects her commitment to achieving extreme balance. Join her on the mat for an unforgettable experience where the boundaries between the ordinary and the supernatural blur, inviting you to discover the magic within yourself amidst the serene backdrop of the Tsolum River.

  • Taylor Rae

    Taylor Rae is a Clinical Herbalist with a diploma of Phytotherapy from Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC. Throughout her life, she has had a natural connection & understanding of Astrology & the Tarot. She uses these modalities to assist her clients into alignment with their health, true nature & souls evolution.

    From personal experience of working through childhood trauma, depression, addiction, burnout, betrayal, chronic illness & extreme anxiety, she has compassionate insight for those who strive to heal.

    She sees & bless' anyone who desires to learn, grow & reclaim themselves alongside the ancient wisdoms of the stars, plant allies & our innate inner knowings.

  • Natalie

    B.A., B.Sc., MSc.OT, E-RYT-500, MYT.

    Natalie is a Yoga Teacher, Occupational Therapist, and Medical Yoga Therapist with a passion for human biology and connection. She completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2010 and her 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2012 with Eddie Modestini and Nicki Doane in Maui. In 2013, she trained in the Professional Yoga Therapy Method (PYT), which integrates yoga as a therapeutic modality. Since 2015, she has been offering yoga education and teacher trainings with Susie Newson/Mocean Yoga. Natalie is currently studying Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy with Body Intelligence.

  • Ally

    Alexandra received 200hr certification for sharing the dedicated Ashtanga Yoga in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia 2016. Since then, she has shared its wisdom, read extensively, and continues to be fascinated by how well-known and translated ancient movement and breathing practices are. Mudras, movement, and meditation focused on assisting the lymphatic system are what she will offer and looks forward to meeting you.

  • Amy

    Amy Creech discovered yoga 11 years ago during a prenatal class while pregnant with her first daughter. That experience introduced her to the power of breath and set her on a path of personal growth and healing. Yoga has since become a central part of her life, helping her overcome chronic SI joint pain and fostering self-love and non-judgment. Now, Amy shares the transformative benefits of yoga with others.

    As a teacher, Amy creates a safe, supportive environment for students at any stage of their yoga journey. Inspired by Mocean Yoga sequencing, her classes combine meditation, stretching, and fluid movements, helping students reconnect with their bodies and leave behind daily stress. Amy hopes her students build strength and confidence, both on and off the mat.
